Article IV
|
Duties of Officers
|

Section 1.
|
President. The President shall preside at all membership meetings and meetings of the Board of Directors. He/she shall appoint all standing and special committees, and shall be an ex-officio member of those committees, with the right to vote. The President will approve all official documents, call special meetings when necessary and certify all acts of the Board in conjunction with the Secretary.

Section 2.
|
Vice-President. The Vice-President shall act as aide to the President and, in the absence of the president, shall perform the duties of the President. He/she shall also perform other duties, as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.

Section 3.
|
Secretary. The Secretary shall record minutes of all membership meetings and meetings of the Board of Directors. He/she shall conduct club correspondence, except when assigned to committee chairman, and maintain records of all correspondence. He/she shall also issue notice of meetings, certify all acts of the Board in conjunction with the President, and conduct other duties as may be assigned by the President or Board of Directors.

Section 4.
|
Treasurer. The Treasurer shall have custody of and be responsible for all funds in whatever place of deposit as designated by the Board of Directors. He/she shall make disbursements as approved by the Board of Directors. All disbursements will be signed by the Treasurer and one other officer. He/she shall be responsible for the submission of financial statements to the members and the Board of Directors when requested by the President, and for filing tax reports, as required. The club records shall be subject to an annual audit. H/she shall be responsible for issuing timely billings to the membership and for collecting and depositing all fees and monies due the club.

Section 5.
|
Members of the Board of Directors. Members of the Board of Directors are expected to actively participate in their respective jobs, whether it is as an officer or committee chairman. See Sections 2 and 6 of Article III for additional explanation.
