Hello VJO,

On tomorrow, Wednesday 9 September, we'll be having our first Parent Education Night of the season. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our team and ask any questions you may have. We'll start at 7:00 p.m. in Portable #707 next to the pool; childcare will be available throughout. Here's the special practice schedule for the night:
The Awards Banquet for the 2008-2009 Season will be on Saturday 19 September, at the SPSV Cafeteria [flier]. All family members are welcome, and this year's event will be semi-formal**. Dinner will be potluck, as follows below:
**A clarification on "semi-formal": we're just looking for nice clothes, i.e. no shorts, sandals, t-shirts, etc., as in "business casual". Please do not purchase any clothes specifically for the event. If you have any questions, please contact Debbie Rodinsky (707.643.8567; rodsky@pacbell.net).

Order forms for personalized caps went out in folders last week. The cost is $12 for 2 latex caps or $25 for 2 silicone caps. Orders are due by Monday 21 September to the "Henderson" file on deck. Please contact Pamela Henderson (707.557.1223) with any questions.
